At Launchline, we take data security seriously and are committed to protecting the information you choose to share with us. Below is an overview of our current practices and our ongoing approach to security.
Data Handling
We process data that our users voluntarily provide in order to use our service. This may include:
- Public-facing help center content
- Documents (e.g., PDFs, CSVs) that may contain product information, requirements, or other proprietary details
This data is necessary for us to deliver our core service: identifying content gaps and improving your support resources.
Data Ownership and Control
You maintain full control over your data. You can upload, manage, and delete documents at any time via your account. We do not access your content except as necessary to provide the service, and we do not use your data for any purpose beyond your direct use. You can delete your data at any time. We do not use customer data to train any AI models.
Infrastructure and Encryption
Our application is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), a secure cloud platform used by leading technology companies worldwide. We also use Supabase for database and user management.All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Data is currently not encrypted at rest, but we are actively evaluating this as part of our roadmap to strengthen our security posture.
AI Usage
We leverage AI to help analyze and improve your help content. However:
- No customer data is used to train AI models.
- Data passed to AI models is used strictly for real-time processing to support your requests.
In Progress and Future Commitments
We’re an early-stage company and are steadily evolving our security practices. Some of the items we plan to implement or explore soon include:
- Encryption at rest
- Automated data expiration or retention policies
- Industry-standard compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2)
